Construction of the Addition all at once

Aug 31, 2010 - David R Lopes

I am not patient enough to extend the photos of the addition construction into several weeks of journal posts (similar to realtime construction).  So instead I have a short "time lapse" photo video of the construction.

Most of the construction was fairly straightforward until we hit the second floor. The two street elevations of the house differ in that on the West side the house has a gable end, and on the East side the house has a Hip roof.   It was a bit of an aesthetic balancing act.

In video you will also notice how we tried to make full use of the floor space by building lower 42" walls of the Bedroom.  I hope you enjoy.
